Taking a moment to search for specimens alongside the highway leading to Tlanchinol provided the team an opportunity to locate some additional specimens including a potentially new species of leaf-litter frog (Eleutherodactylus sp.) and a species of anole (Norops naufragus) that was discovered by Jonathan Campbell during the 1980s.
